One of the highlights of the evening was a presentation by SKEMA alumna and entrepreneur amille Fenain. During her talk, Camille spoke about her startup Additive Solutions, a nationwide car shipping company which s e started with less than 10 cars per month. lt has now grown to sever al hundred cars per month and over $1 million in revenue. She shared tt1e lessons she learnt among the way and encouraging tips for student entrepreneurs. including one of her favourite quotes from Henry Ford, “the real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing”.

I always notice such letters when I visit offices and feel strongly that those who meet with you should have a better idea of how comm1ted you are to providing the best possible service to your clients/customers. So, first allow me to thank you again for the extra effort you put forth in helping to arrange for the shipment of the car I had purchased in LA to my home in Arizona. When the dealer was unresponsive to my request to confirm that the car was ready for shipment and was not making the arrangements with you, you were able to step in and get those arrangements made for me. The car arrived in good order and on time. Now that I am looking at another auction of a classic vehicle, rather than agreeing to use a shipping service through the web site running the auction in question, I contacted you to see if you could arrange shipment for me from Sacramento (not LA this time) to Arizona. I was extremely happy to hear back from you that you could do that and the quote you provided to me appears to be lower than that unofficial quote from the auction house web site. I know that you are rooting for me to win the auction at a price that is affordable for me and I fully appreciate how concerned you are for the satisfaction of your clients – but, beyond that, I have felt that you feel personally involved and feel that you have become a friend and ally and someone I can turn to whenever I have shipping needs.
